Welcome to the Woods!
For more than 10 years the Waldhaus Aken has been a hostel and has established a good name. Since October 2010 this tradition has continued under a new operator.
The hostel and campsite is situated in the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve. The major cycle routes are just a stone’s throw away: Elbe and Luther path and the Euroroute R1. The Waldhaus is embedded in the woods, apart from the village residents and road traffic. Coaches can drive a bituminised road directly to the premises, even with a turning loop.
Our hostel fits perfectly for class trips, society excursions, training camps, larger family celebrations, reunions, etc. If neccessary, you can even rent the whole house!
